All students are issued a laptop to use. Your new laptop must be set-up correctly to work with SVSD learning apps. Please take time, before the first day of school, to configure your laptop correctly: just follow the 5 onboarding steps to get your laptop ready. After onboardingis complete, you can attend classes and will be able to fully participate.

Use Kami to open and turn in your assignments correctly! All math classes (and others) use Kami so make sure you have the extension loaded. Click on the logo to learn how to use Kami.

Snoqualmie Valley School District teachers use a learning platform called Schoology to manage their courses, assignments, grades and student/parent communication. Schoology also makes it easy for parents to stay involved with their student's education.
Schoology basics - find your courses, assignments, and zoom links to connect with your teachers.
Login to Schoology
Students: Log in from the using the Schoology icon in ClassLink or with our specific URL - lms.svsd410.org - and use your Google Drive login information.
Parents: create a Schoology account to track your student's progress in class! Get your Schoology access code from a teacher, or one of the secretaries Sarah Orochena or Katy Wada, then click here to login.
Here is a parent tip sheet, on creating an account, navigation and daily digest emails that summarize your student's activity and missing assignments.
If you forgot your Google Drive password, any of your teachers can reset it for you.
New students – you can get your login/email address from any of your teachers (or the main office) and your password is your 6 digit ID number (you will be forced to change it when you first login).
Any of your student’s teachers (or the main office) can provide you with the parent access code.
You can have multiple students under your account, but each student has a unique code you will need to add to the account.
Your Schoology account lasts as long as your student is enrolled at SVSD.
By self-subscribing to Schoology, parents will have the ability to view their student’s courses and information. The document below will explain how to subscribe, connect to your student, and how to navigate the parent view.
apParent is an iOS/Android mobile app that allows you to monitor your child's school-provided Windows device outside of school hours. Simply install and sign in to the apParent app on your Android or iOS device and you will be able to monitor and manage your child's usage of their school-issued device. apParent allows you to keep an eye on all your children simultaneously outside of school hours and works whether they are at home or out and about.
When your student received their laptop, they were also issued a stylus and a charging cord. These are theirs to use throughout the year(s), but they will need to be turned in with the device when it is returned or exchanged. We recommend labeling the charging cord with a sharpie. The most common cause of a stylus not working is needing a battery - they are AAAA and can be found at various drug and grocery stores.
If your student loses these accessories, or they become damaged, you can purchase replacements from the school. The fee for a replacement charging cord is $17.40 and a replacement stylus is $42.40. To purchase a replacement, your student will go to the front office at TFMS.
If your student needs technical help with their laptop, please have them visit Mrs. Donlin in the school library. You can contact her at donlink@svsd410.org
